In the early light of a Nestington morning, when the garden paths are still silvered with dew and the magpies are practising their softest songs, there is a little lane known only to those who look closely. It winds between flowering hedges and past wicker baskets brimming with leaves, and along this lane the air is always filled with petals that never quite touch the ground.
The skort was made for these wandering hours.

The curved ruffle, traced in bright piping, is the path itself, looping and dancing as though it knows the way to every hidden cubby and sun-warmed stone. It lifts and sways with every step, never slowing the running, climbing, skipping life of the day, for beneath the skirt lies the freedom to move, to play, to gather armfuls of treasures without a single pause.
Here, laughter rings against the wooden fences and drifts up through the leaves of the potted fig tree. And when the afternoon light turns golden and calls the nesters home, the flowers on the skort seem to glow a little brighter, as though they have been listening to every story and will carry them safely until tomorrow.
