In the far edge of Nestington, beyond the river bend where sunlight turns the water turquoise, there lies a secret patch of wildflowers known only as The Psychedelic Garden.
By day, the blooms sway in ordinary shades of green and blue… but at dawn, when the first golden light brushes their petals, they shimmer into colours no painter could ever name. Teal melts into ocean-blue; jade unfurls into deep midnight; and every leaf seems lit from within, as though holding a tiny piece of the sky.
It is said that long ago, the garden was planted by a wandering botanist-witch who believed children should grow up surrounded by magic. Each flower she tucked into the earth carried a blessing; courage, curiosity, joy, and laughter.
