In the bright, breezy meadows at the edge of Nestington, where sunlight dances between gum leaves and the air hums with summer secrets, the Butterfly Chorus gathers. They drift like petals on the wind; some rosy, some golden, some the colour of morning sky; each carrying a tiny whisper of joy on their wings.
It is said that when the butterflies of Folk Flora take flight, they leave traces of their colour upon anything they touch. One afternoon, as they fluttered past the seamstress’s porch, they brushed against a length of cloth… and every wingbeat became a pattern. Every swirl became a story. Every colour became a memory of movement, freedom, and play.
From that cloth, the seamstresses of Nestington stitched a treasure made for adventurers: the Scattered Butterflies Skort.
Soft ruffles mimic the lift of wings; the wrap-front shape feels like a breeze finding its way through tall grass. And when a little nester races, hops, twirls, or climbs, the butterflies on the fabric seem to rise with her; as though cheering her on, reminding her that the world is full of light, laughter, and tiny wonders waiting to be found.
A piece made for days spent outside…for sunshine on shoulders, for grassy toes, for freedom in every step.
